This book was so funny is was about a miterious

 'Brown Phantom' who is leaving, err, packages,on the floors of the school toilets. The finger of blame is pointed at poor Dermot.

Poo jokes abound - Dermot says of a TV expert who examines celebrity stools that "It was a bit like Goldilocks and the Three Bears. One was too hard, one was too soft, and one was just right," but in the end it was sneaky, it was a boy getting chimp poo from the zoo.
